Com top end resultsplenty of meat left to standard cylinderscylinders were cross-hatched honedguides left alonevalves/valve seats refacedstandard rings fitted to pistonswrist pins tight and no side play for rodsjames gaskets kit usedreplaced 3 rubber seals in oil lines - spares includedoil pump bearing ball and spring were replaced - spare oil pump bearings includednew hd 6v battery filled with acid and placed on a trickle charge50 weight hd oil bought same day heads/cylinders were picked up. A re-paint was done in the early 70's in the maroon/birch white shown. It has normal scratches or small chips & after 40 years, looks nice, shines up well with decent patina. Bubble bags were painted to match the fenders and tanks. The front fender tip is not original for that year. The red insert, makes a nice effect and may be one of the few items on this bike that are not original for 1958. Carb was replaced with rebuilt/model correct. The bike was re-wired using an original style loom to include spotlight/turn signalsprio owner installed oem master cylinder, rear brake cylinder and brake hose. New cloth brake and clutch cablesrebuilt ignition switchreplaced the tires with new coker, super eagle tread tires and tubesspeedometer done by bordas replacing the glass pane with a rare original hd red glassreplaced the front fork oilnew front/rear chainsreplaced the footboard mats with oem original partsfront and rear hubs gone thruinstalled a center standtrued the front and rear wheelsin addition:the frame appears to be original paint. It is scuffed in spots and not touched up. The bike has oem turn signalsoem spotlights that have patina! Rare turn signal indicators in front of the dash! The original rare flasher is there! Buco windshield and a nos hd lower window section are installedhardware is harley davidson oem 1038 cp and original (according to the prior owner). The dual exhaust pipe may be original. Xxxxxxxxany left over parts from top end repair are also included! No warranty expressed or implied! Balance due in wire transfer or cash.
