This is a rare piece of expensive history. The american carmakers were not willing to get directly in the soft top game in the early 1980s. But a few coachbuilers (often with dealer support) would create what detroit wouldn't dare. This is an expensive process that would often double the price of the car, but the results were worth it. The cutlass supreme was arguably the best g-body design with a very formal look that included the waterfall grille, long doors, and olds' tradition of well-integrated bumpers. Plus, custom elements like the pinstriping and 15-inch billet specialties wheels only add to this custom droptop's individualized feeling. The burgundy leather interior is a great complementing standout color to the bright white exterior. It appears to be original, and it still matches nicely on the seats, carpets, and dash. The burled walnut veneer is some of the most handsome trim for any car in the 80s, and as expected with such an expensive convertible, it came loaded. This one has power windows, tilt wheel, power locks, provisions for air conditioning, and an upgraded am/fm/cd stereo. Plus, the grant three-spoke wood and chrome steering wheel is the perfect way to enjoy all-day cruising. Under the hood is powerful 350 cubic-inch v8 – remember even the hurst/olds cars of the day didn't get this much displacement. Adding to this easy driving feeling is the th350 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes.
